Bio-Gide®, used in conjuction with Bio-Oss® in guided bone regeneration procedures, is considered standard of care therapy. Bio-Gide® is effective in defects including:
- Peri-implant defects
- Periodontal defects
- Ridge preservation
- Sinus Floor Augmentation
Because of its elasticity, Bio-Gide® has to be used in combination with space-making bone graft materials, e.g., autogenous bone, bone substitutes (Bio-Oss®, etc.).
